The Coffee & Tea Expo: “Sipping Culture, Tasting Community” is a vibrant cultural experience and community fundraiser celebrating the rich traditions of coffee, tea, and storytelling within the Puerto Rican and Afro-Caribbean diaspora. Hosted in support of the Afro-Caribbean Culture Center (ACCC), this event blends flavor, culture, education, and community connection into one unforgettable gathering.

This interactive expo invites guests to explore the deep cultural roots that coffee and tea hold across the Caribbean—where café con leche, bush teas, family herbal remedies, and morning rituals form the heartbeat of many homes. From Puerto Rico’s mountain-grown coffee heritage to the island-by-island traditions of lemongrass, ginger, soursop, hibiscus, and other cherished teas, attendees will experience the tastes and stories that have shaped generations.

The event will feature dynamic speakers, cultural educators, and storytellers sharing the history, migration stories, and ancestral knowledge behind Caribbean coffee and tea traditions. Guests will enjoy live demonstrations, tasting stations, and hands-on cultural experiences, along with a curated vendor marketplace showcasing local coffee roasters, tea makers, herbalists, bakers, artists, and small businesses.

Cultura del sorbo y comunidad del gusto.
